The segment-defining and award-winning Ford Ranger pickup truck continued to prove its popularity in Malaysia as strong customer demand during the third quarter drove retail sales up 12 percent from prior quarter.
The solid sales helped the Ford Ranger boost its share of the pickup segment in the third quarter, gaining 1.5 percentage points from the prior quarter to 16.2 percent.

In addition to being one of the best-selling pickups in the market, Ford Ranger is also one of the most awarded vehicles in its segment. Ford Ranger Raptor, the first and only performance pickup truck in Malaysia, was recently crowned ‘Best Pickup Truck’ at the 2019 CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards.
Ranger was also named ‘2019 Malaysia Pick-Up Truck of the Year’ at the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards, ‘Best Pickup Trucks of Malaysia’ 2019 at the Cars of Malaysia Awards, ‘Pickup Truck of the Year’ at the 2019 DSF.my Allianz Vehicle of the Year Awards (VOTY).
